Bandit Drops New Music Video for “Dead Poets Society”
Liverpool-based rock band Bandit, consisting of Nat Waters (vocals/guitar), Evan Tate (guitar), Josh Pears (bass) and Kurtis Murphy (drums), has drops a new music video for “Dead Poets Society”.
The song was released as the second single from their upcoming EP “The Good Times Are Killing Me” back on August 24, 2023, following “We'll Be Alreet”.
The track was written by Nathan Waters and Evan Tate. Produced by Alex Quinn.
The band said of the song, “Dead Poets Society is about being the black sheep and the realisation of people being born into 'easy lives'. It's aimed at the privileged as middle finger to the rich kids who get handed opportunities on a plate, denoting how much more meaningful it is earning success and cutting through the scene with nothing, aside from pennies in your account and working for what you believe in.”- They continued, “It's also about all the fakeness of what goes on behind the scenes in our lives and how some people only want to know you when they can benefit from you. It's about the underwhelming realisations of how the machine actually works.”
They added, “This is about the experiences of working from the ground up and being proud of both where we've come from and who we are.”
The new EP is set to be released on November 17, 2023. -
