Holly Munro Announces Debut EP “Up Against Your Nature”, Shares New Song “Glow Up”
Irish singer-songwriter Holly Munro has announced her debut EP “Up Against Your Nature” will be released on November 3, 2023 via Kartel Music Group.
The EP's themes running throughout include heart to hearts with friends ('Glow Up'), uncovering a new side of yourself ('Open Ended'), looking after yourself ('Give Yourself Love') or just taking a walk in nature ('The Water').
Holly Munro said of the EP, “While the stories behind these songs are personal to me, I hope that the message they convey inspires others on their own journey of self-discovery, resilience, and self-compassion.”
From the EP, she unveiled a new song “Glow Up” on September 8, 2023.
The track was written by Holly Munro, and Luke Potashnick, who also produced it.
The accompanying music video was directed by Holly Munro and Julie Weber.
Inspired by her close friend struggling to recognise her own beauty at a house party, “Glow Up” is a song that was written in the early hours of that morning.
Holly Munro said of the song, “This song is a reminder that we all have our struggles and moments of self-doubt, but there's so much beauty and meaning in each of us”.- source : Apple Music
