  • Toddla T & Aitch Premiere New Song “Hide N Seek” featuring TAET on BBC Radio 1

  • British DJ Toddla T premiered a new song “Hide N Seek” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Jack Saunders.

This time, he teamed up with British rapper Aitch and London-based singer-songwriter TAET on the song.
The song samples Cheryl Lynn's 1978 song “Got To Be Real”.
The track was written by David Foster, Cheryl Lynda Smith, David Paich, Thomas Mackenzie Bell, Taet Chesterton, Harrison Armstrong, Richard William Barratt, David Lloyd and Nesreen Bibi Shah.
Toddla T told Jack Saunders about the song, “So the sample in the two means are a lot to me because I grew up on this tune, so I texted the guy that made it one morning and I said you mind, If I sample you. Sampled tune, I work with a lot of great, he's great. It's cool quartet. And then my brother, Aitch. We came out studio one day. I needed to stay northern to keep with the vibration to be. The man sat down by phone 20 minutes later, two verses, I was very happy.”
  • TAET said, “I think too literally text me, like I said, he texted me the day before I was just like, how this song is so good and like musically works together a lot anyway. And then I don't know when he played it's just super good song we just wrote it. He was just the energy, was just got. Anyway everyone was super super excited. So, we just, it sounds great.”
Aitch said, “And you can't say no to Toddla T I know he's always right. So when I got the phone call, I was like yes, a little more or less get a cracking and like what I just said, obviously, I'm being everyone. You've got something to do with his song. We all seem to do it pretty quick. So that just goes to show that the vibe is right. I mean, we all fell it so. And so the T is the guy and I mean legendary so.”
