  • Hybrid Minds Premieres New Song “If Love Could Have Saved You” with venbee on BBC Radio 1

  • British DJ duo Hybrid Minds, consisting of Josh White and Matthew Lowe, premiered a new song “If Love Could Have Saved You” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Jack Saunders.

This time, the duo teamed up with Kent-based singer-songwriter venbee on the track.
The track was written by Erin Doyle, harlotte Haining, Josh White, and Matthew Lowe. Produced by Josh White and Matthew Lowe.
Matthew Lowe told Jack Saunders about the song, “We got sent the top line from Charlotte and venbee. And it was just an instant it was an instant vibe for me and Josh, it's rare that we listen to things. So like on repeat with these things, like it's hard to hit the mark a lot of the times but this just hit every emotion for us, we were just listen to it over and over. We sort of had an instant vision of what we wanted to do on the track.”
  • Josh White continued, “Well that's sort of what we try and do with all. Our music is make feeling that's a drum and bass. So if the lyrics are something that we connect with, and we have make us emotional, that's what we've worked with. And that's what we try and add a bit of energy to, but still staying true to the sort of message of the song.”
The duo shared on social media, “It's been a long time coming and we're so excited to be releasing this track… It was an absolute pleasure writing this with the super talented Venbee alongside our friend Charlotte Haining, who was such a catalyst behind the record. They both opened up and wrote these beautiful lyrics to share such an important and relatable message to so many.”
