Sofija Releases New Song “Who I Am”
Los Angeles-based R&B singer-songwriter Sofija released the third single of 2023 called “Who I Am” on July 28, 2023, following “Sleepovers” and “Guy In the Movies”.
On the track, she details newfound realizations surrounding an unwavering faith in the path the universe sets her on, and gratitude and acceptance for every experience, favorable or not.
The track was written by Sofija and produced by Chris Jackson.
Sofija saod of the song, “I feel like I really went through a spiritual awakening around the time that I wrote this song, so I wanted to share this change in thinking that has greatly helped me to feel more free as an individual. Regardless of the way you see the world, I hope that by sharing this shift in perspective I had, it could encourage someone else to re-think the narratives they've created about themselves and the world.”- Also, she shared on the social media, This song captures some of the more recent perspectives & feelings I've had surrounding life and my journey through it. I hope it can bring someone else comfort as they learn to navigate their own path, hopefully while staying present and learning to not identify too much with the past or what we feel we need to accomplish in the future.”
