Hayd Returns With New Song “When You Were Mine”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Hayden Hubers, aka Hayd returned with a new song “When You Were Mine” on August 4, 2023.
The song is his first music in 10 months since “Lost”, which was released last September.
The track was written by Hayd, Jonathan B. Kaye, and Sarcastic Sounds.
Hayd said of the song, “A song about getting hurt by someone you trusted.”
Back in July, before the release of the song, he shared on social media, “I’m sorry I’ve been quiet for so long. There have been external factors that have kept me from releasing music for a while. I didn’t want to keep teasing new songs and getting your hopes up if I wasn’t even sure if I could put them out. So I stayed quiet.”
He continued, “One thing I’ve learned this season is that beautiful things take time. Like a plant. You can buy a fake plant, and it might look like a real one, but one has life and the other doesn’t. A real plant needs time to grow. The last several months are certainly not where I wanted to be, but maybe they’re where I needed to be.”
He added, “The good news is that now I’m finally able to release my music. You finally get to hear all these songs I’ve been working on for years. You don’t have to wait anymore. Thank you for all the messages checking in on me. Love you guys”
