Los Angeles-based alt-pop singer-songwriter salem ilese has announced her highly-anticipated debut album “high concept” will be released on September 15, 2023.
The album was produced by Andrew Goldstein, Bendik Møller, Bendik Moller, David Arkwright, Justin Gammella and Spencer Stewart.
salem ilese said of the album, “The concept of the album is concepts. It's conception. I always start a song with a title, play on words, or clever phrase I heard someone say in conversation and quickly wrote down in my notes app. This project is my favorite lil word nerd moments all wrapped up together. I can't wait until it's yours.”
From the album, she unveiled a new song “Strongly Worded Letter” on July 21, 2023.
The song is the fourth single off of the album, following “PainHub”, “Tall Boi”, and “Team Sport”.
The track was written by salem ilese, Bendik Møller, Kristine Flaherty, and Spencer Stewart. Produced by Spencer Stewart and Bendik Møller.
