Noah Kahan & Post Malone Team Up for New Version of “Dial Drunk”
American singer-songwriter Noah Kahan teamed up with American rapper Post Malone to release a new version of “Dial Drunk” on July 18, 2023.
The original version of the song is featured on his third studio album expanded edition “Stick Season (We'll All Be Here Forever)”, which was released on June 9, 2023.
The new version was written by Noah Kahan, Noah Levine and Austin Post. Produced by Gabe Simon and Noah Kahan.
Noah Kahan said of the song, “The reaction to Dial Drunk has been so incredible and so overwhelming. I never know when or why a song is going to land and to see the meaning and connection you have drawn from this track has inspired me in a way I have never been inspired before. You can only imagine my shock and excitement when Post told me he wanted to not only sing on it, but write his own verse. I have been listening to Post Malone since White Iverson dropped, even covering Congratulations right when my career was beginning. It feels like a full circle moment and it has been a dream come true to make this collaboration happen. Thank you so much Post for blessing me with your involvement.”- The new track was released as Noah Kahan embarks on his North American Stick Season tour.
The song also became his first entry in the Billboard Hot 100 when it debuted at Number 43.
The third album “Stick Season” was released last October and comprises 14-track, produced by Noah Kahan and Gabe Simon.
