Bebe Rexha Teams Up With Snoop Dogg for New Song “Satellite”
American singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha teamed up with American rapper Snoop Dogg to release a new song “Satellite” on April 20, 2023.
The song is the third single off of Bebe Rexha's upcoming third studio album “Bebe”, which is set to be released on April 28, 2023.
The track was written by Bebe Rexha, Calvin Broadus, Samantha DeRosa, Maya Kurchner, Dominic Perfetti, and Joe Janiak. Produced by Joe Janiak.
The pair have already filmed the music video, which is coming soon.
Bebe Rexha told People about this collaboration with Snoop Dogg, “Working with Snoop is a dream. He called me at 7:00 the next morning [after sharing the song via Instagram] with a big blunt in his hand being like, ‘Yo, check your email. You have an email’. He’s like, ‘You have to try my Death Row Joints,’ and I was like, ‘Right now, on the video set? I’m going to look high on the video.’ He said, ‘Just try it,’ and I was like, ‘Okay’. I took a hit of it, and I got so high with Snoop Dogg. But who could say they got high with Snoop Dogg? That’s like a lifetime thing.”- The new album comprises 12-track, with guest appearances from David Guetta, Dolly Parton and Snoop Dogg.
Bebe Rexha told Official Charts about the album, “I'm very excited. It feels amazing. I feel really proud of it. [The upcoming album] feels like an artistic project. We're creating a world. That's what I'm really excited about.”
The album is inspired by '70s pop, and post-disco. She said, “It was interesting, you know, because when I'm Good started to hit, we were always so deep [into the album process] in the 70s. [After the success of it], I did think - how can we incorporate [the Eurodance style of I'm Good]? There are some songs that we were able to bring in the 70s, Fleetwood Mac style in the verses, and bring a big dance hook in the chorus.” - source : Apple Music
