Sad Boys Club Releases New Song “Lumoflove”
London-based alt-rock band Sad Boys Club, consisting of Jacob Wheldon (vocals), Pedro Caetano (bass), Chris Holmes (guitar), Tom MacColl (drums), released a new song “Lumoflove” on March 29, 2023.
The song is the third single off of their upcoming debut album “Lullabies From The Lightning Tree”, which is se to be released May 5, 2023.
The track was written by Jamie Norton and Jacob Wheldon. Produced by Pedro Gontijo Caetano Barroso Leite.
Radically changing up from their previous singles and back catalogue of music, the song shows Sad Boys Club, and particularly lead singer Jacob Wheldon, at their darkest, but also most alluring.
The band said of the song, “Born from a demo typo (and a few furious games of FIFA to decide the naming rights), this one means a lot to us, happy we get to share this one with you all ahead of the record. It’s a departure from anything we’ve done before so we’re really excited (nervous) to hear what you all think.”
The band embarks on their headline tour in Europe and the UK. The tour kicks off at Hydrozagadka in Warsaw, Poland on April 19, 2023.
