Alexa Cappelli Releases New Song “Someone Better”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Alexa Cappelli released a new song “Someone Better” on March 24, 2023 via Arista Records.
The song is the follow-up to “Lose Lose”, which was released last November.
The track was written by Alexa Cappelli, Jackson Foote, and Stefan Pajaro-van de Stadt. Produced by Davin Kingston and Jackson Foote.
The accompanying music visualizer was directed by Camila Noriega.
Alexa Cappelli said of the song, “‘Someone Better’ is the realization that the relationship you’re in doesn't fit the life you’re living for. There’s nothing wrong with the other person, in fact there’s really only good. But you know the future holds more growth and love for both of you apart, rather than together. Choosing yourself is way more difficult when you aren’t mad at this person who has only ever treated you right. But moving forward, there will be a day when you meet someone somewhere who does the same and is also growing in the same direction.”- She shared on social media, “Someone Better 💚💚💚 i wrote this one with Stefan Pajaro-van de Stadt in sept.'21, where we both held back tears as we finished the chorus. it was special to articulate this unique feeling about love & letting go in a way that honors the other. brought on Jackson Foote and Davin Kingston to work pure magic into it and i am so proud of what it became. now its yours & i hope u find that in a world of bitterness, it makes you love like someone better. 🔍”
