Trevor Daniel Releases New Song “SYL”
American singer-songwriter Trevor Daniel released a new song “SYL” along with a music video on March 24, 2023.
The song follows up the collaborative single “In The Morning” with Kazakh DJ Imanbek released back in February, and will appear on his upcoming album.
The track was written and produced by Trevor Daniel. “SYL” means “Somebody You'll Love”.
Trevor Daniel said of the song, “To me this record is special - it's about finding myself and finally being true to that version of me that maybe I've suppressed for a while. I felt like it was easier if I personified it because a part of this whole realization came from me not feeling good enough for other peoples expectations. So I had some backstory to work with. since this was so personal, I felt the need to dive back into producing and really just locking myself in a room and enjoying making something from scratch, alone again. Being hands on with this record and the entire album that's coming is my number one priority since there's no better way to express MYSELF through music outside of diving into every detail.”- source : Apple Music
