Gryffin Covers Gabrielle's “Dreams”
American DJ Dan Griffith, aka Gryffin released a cover of British singer-songwriter Gabrielle's “Dreams” on March 17, 2023.
The song is his first single since the 2022 album “Alive”.
The original version of the song was released by Gabrielle from her debut album “Find Your Way” in 1993. The song reached No. 1 on the UK Singles chart.
The track was written by Gabrielle and Tim Laws. The cover version was produced by Gryffin.
Gryffin said of the song, “The past couple of years, I've spent thinking, 'Will people enjoy this?' or 'Will this song be successful?” And I forgot to focus on just being creative and making music that made me happy and fulfilled. For the first time in a long time, I finally feel creatively free and excited about the music-making process again. And I am so proud and excited about this new era of music.
