King Princess Releases New Song “The Bend”
American singer-songwriter Mikaela Strauss, aka King Princess released a new song “The Bend” on March 2, 2023.
The song is feature in a new compilation mixtape “C23”, which is set be released on March 15, 2023 by NME and Bose.
It was written by King Princess, Aaron Dessner, and Mikaela Straus. Produced by King Princess and Aaron Dessner.
The track is her first music since the 2022 sophomore album “Hold On Baby”.
King Princess said ofthe song, “It's about feeling like every time you get to the mountain, there's another mountain, whether that's your mental health or your love life or your work life.”
Also King Princess shared on social media, “My song 'the bend' is featured in the Bose x NME C23 mixtape. Happy to be a part of the iconic series.”- “C23” is C-Series mixtape by NME and Bose. The mixtape is the first entry in the C-Series since 1996 and follow the tastemaking and scene-stealing compilations C81 and C86.
The mixtape contains 15-track, in addition to King Princess, featuring Genesis Owusu, Blu DeTiger, Flo Milli, Dot Major (London Grammar), MICHELLE, Jockstrap, 070 Shake, RenForShort, JVKE, Chloe Moriondo, Danielle Ponder, Weval, FelixThe1st and Half.Alive. -
