Regent Releases New Song “Let Me In” from New EP “Believe”
Southampton-based rock band Regent, consisting of Ben Rooke (vocals), Chris Woolf (guitar/keys/piano), Luke Trundell (bass) and George Grattan (drums), released a new song “Let Me In” on February 10, 2023.
The song is taken from their new EP “Believe”, which was released on the same day.
The band frontman Ben Rooke said of the song, “This track is about starting again through all life's stresses and anxieties… to always take a breath, take a rest and start again. It's a ballad made for people who need to heal: all of us on a daily basis.”
The new EP comprises 3-track, “Let Me In”, “She Checks My Head.” and “The Thunder.”.
Ben Rooke said, “I wanted to create a short EP based not just on everyone's feelings on life and the cost of living crisis, but as an everyday memoir of the struggles of life and beyond. Life is tough at the best of times and I'd like to provide a ray of light, almost John Lennon-esque, through our music that is inspirational and uplifting, but realistic to working class lives such as my own.”
