Varro Vivyds Returns With New Song “Big Bang”
American singer-songwriter Varro Vivyds returned with a new song “Big Bang” on February 3, 2023.
The song is her first music in two years since the 2021 “Bed Frame”.
The track features her alluring and sultry vocals, which is tied into her own, vibrant and indie pop infused sound.
It was written by Varro Vivyds, and Henry Chadwick, who also produced the track.
Varro Vivyds said of the song, “For 'Big Bang' I wanted a heavy impact and an upbeat track. I came up with the title while talking with my sound engineer about how I wanted my first track of the year to feel like a 'Big Bang'. I liked that idea and I went home to write it and we recorded it the next day. Physical expression and freedom is important to me, and that's what came to mind while writing. This song is fun, seductive and the perfect way to start the year!”
- She has already recorded 15 songs plus a few accapella versions, and plans to release more 7 songs this year.
She said, “We have another 7 songs coming out this year that we created from scratch. As you'll see later this year, I have some acapella versions of songs I will be releasing and it's cool to see how many sounds I can create with just my voice.”
She shared on social media about her comeback, “When my dad got sick a year and a half ago, I realized my priorities were fucked. I felt like a broken fraud. Making music for others instead of for my self. I took a breath and a moment to myself to fall back in love with words.”
She continued, “Writing has always brought me comfort. Before I ever went to a studio, before I was able to write my own songs on guitar, I would only use my voice. Creating melodies and writing lyrics to match. All of a sudden, I just started writing songs with no music like I used to when I was young and felt happy for the first time in years.”
