Rihanna Performs at Apple Music Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show
American singer-songwriter Rihanna appeared on Super Bowl LVI halftime show at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona to perform on February 12, 2023.
In her first public performance in five years, Rihanna performed 12 songs, including “Better Have My Money”, “Where Have You Been”, “Only Girl (In The World)”, “We Found Love”, “Rude Boy”, “Work”, “Wild Thoughts”, “Birthday Cake (instrumental) / Pour It Up”, “All of the Lights”, “Run This Town”, “Umbrella”, and “Diamonds”.
She is currently working on her upcoming album. Before the Super Bowl, Rihanna said in a pre-Bowl press conference, “open to exploring, discovering, creating things that are new, things that are different, things that are off, weird, might never make sense to my fans. I just want to play; I want to have fun with music.”
On the 57th Super Bowl, the American Football Conference (AFC) champio Kansas City Chiefs and the National Football Conference (NFC) champion Philadelphia Eagles competed.
Finally, Kansas City Chiefs defeated hiladelphia Eagles, 38–35. The Chiefs' victory was their second in four years and their third overall.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was named Super Bowl Most Valuable Player. He became the first quarterback since Kurt Warner in 1999 to win an NFL MVP and a Super Bowl title.
