Callum Beattie Releases New Song “Dancing With Wolves”
Scottish singer-songwriter Callum Beattie will release his upcoming sophomore album “Vandals” on February 24, 2023.
From the album, he released the fifth single called “Dancing With Wolves” on February 10, 2023.
Last December, he shared a live video fo the song, in which he performed it with only piano.
The track was written by Callum Beattie and produced by Chris Marshall.
Callum Beattie said of the song, “This was written a few years ago and we revisited it for this record. It's a big atmospheric song that would sound great in a soundtrack, it's quite dark and moody”
The new album features 13-track and sees Beattie going right back to his roots, a selection of songs penned about Scotland, working class life, and coming of age.- cKZMR2Dut_s

“I grew up in a post Thatcher Britain, in a fairly rough part of Scotland, raised by my dad, and experienced the poverty and roughness of those times first hand,” Callum Beattie said of the album. “Culturally, it was a very specific period in history, where you could almost feel the class divide on the local streets. I feel strongly that we are moving towards a culturally similar period in history.”-
