Alison Goldfrapp & Claptone Team Up for New Song “Digging Deeper”
British electronic music duo Goldfrapp's vocalist and singer-songwriter, Alison Goldfrapp started a solo act under her name this year.
She teamed up with German DJ Claptone to release a new song “Digging Deeper” as her first solo single on January 19, 2023.
This marks first collaboration between Alison Goldfrapp and Claptone.
The track was written and produced by Alison Goldfrapp, Richard X, and James Greenwood.
Alison Goldfrapp said od the song, “In ‘Digging Deeper’, I’m effortlessly gliding through air, on a gloriously hot breezy night arriving at a blissed-out dancefloor on the island of my dreams.”
Claptone said, “When Alison Goldfrapp asked me to collaborate, it was a no brainer for me. I’ve always been enchanted by the magic world she created and her stunning voice, so I was really happy that we could merge our trickery to create ‘Digging Deeper’.”- Photo by Mat Maitland
