Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Frozen Crown Releases New Song “Call Of The North”
Last month, Italian metal band Frozen Crown, consisting of Giada 'Jade' Etro (lead vocals), Federico Mondelli (lead Guitar/vocals), Fabiola 'Sheena' Bellomo (lead guitar), Francesco Zof (bass) and Niso Tomasini (drums), announced their upcoming fourth studio album “Call Of The North” would be released on March 10, 2023 via Scarlet Records.
It is their first album in two years since the 2021 album “Winterbane”.
The band shared on social media, “Dear friends, we're finally back! Our fourth album "CALL OF THE NORTH", a long journey through a frozen forgotten land, between battle chants and war hymns, has been completed!”
From the album, the band released the title track on December 16, 2022.
It was written by Federico Mondelli and produced by Andrea Fusini. The accompanying music video was directed by Luca Morselli and Federico Mondelli.- The new album comprises 10-track recorded at Fusix Studio in Turin, Italy, produced by Andrea Fusini.
The band said of the album, “This fourth album is going to sound 100% Frozen Crown, melding together elements from our previous three albums, and purposely featuring no guest appearances, to consolidate the band sound while bringing at the same time unseen features (like acoustic ballads and epic choirs) on the table.”
They continued, “Be ready for memorable refrains, heavy downtuned guitar riffs, intricate symphonic parts, and a tense and epic battlefield atmosphere.” -
