  • Gareth Emery Releases Final Album “ANALOG”: Streaming

  • Los Angeles-based British DJ Gareth Emery released his fifth studio album “ANALOG” on December 9, 2022.

It is his first album in two years since the 2020 album “The Lasers”.
Also the album is his final full-length album, but he will continue to release singles and EPs moving forward.
Back in June, he announced the album, “ANALOG will be my final artist album and I’m celebrating this end-of-an-era release with some epic collectibles. But first, no, I’m not stopping music. I’m in this game for life. ANALOG simply felt like the end of a story I started writing in 2010 with Northern Lights. Sometimes, you need to know when to end a story, to make room for new ones.”
The album comprises 10-track, featuring guest appearances from Annabel, Danny Starr, Evan Henzi, Gid Sedgwick, Sarah de Warren, and Roddy Woomble.
It was written by Annabel, Anthony Galatis, Gareth Emery, Roddy Woomble and Roderick Woomble. Produced by Gareth Emery.
  • Gareth Emery shared on social media, “I’ve always worked hard to make albums a coherent listen from beginning to end, and I believe this one really tells a story. Of course, this record is completely different to anything I’ve done before.
Sure, there are some dance music bangers, like ‘Where Do We Go From Here’ and ‘This Is Not The End’, but the most enjoyable parts of this album were using guitars, pianos & real drums to produce records purely in a ‘band’ style… whilst still being as pure a ‘Gaz’ record as any other.”
He continued, “As the closing track says, ‘the end of an old era, but the beginning of a new one’ and that’s very much the case here.
After five albums in the last 12 years, I’m excited to end that story, and start telling a new one.
The new era involves making music and releasing it more quickly, and I’m excited for you to hear what it sounds like.
For now though, I very much hope you enjoy ANALOG.”
