Turkish-American singer-songwriter Ela Ozturk released a new song “Roots” on November 18, 2022.
The song is her second single of 2022, following “Sweet Nothing” released last month.
It was written by Ela Ozturk, and produced by Morgan Clae Sanker and Tommy Sanker.
The accompanying music video was directed by Morgan Clae.
“'Roots' focuses on rebuilding yourself after someone has broken your connection with who you are,” Ela Ozturk said of the song. “The lyrics describe a comeback story.”
She describes the adventure of finding yourself after trials and tribulations. Combining powerful vocals with lively instrumentation, she has made a perfect track to help shine light after dark times and rejoice in the feeling of falling back into your own person after feeling lost.- Ela Ozturk shared on social media, “This song was a breakthrough for me as an artist and gave me the closure I needed to heal in a time when I was broken.
