Nicki Minaj, Maluma & Myriam Fares Team Up for Official FIFA World Cup Anthem “Tukoh Taka”
Trinidadian-American rapper Nicki Minaj, Colombian singer-songwriter Maluma and Lebanese singer-songwriter Myriam Fares teamed up to release a new song “Tukoh Taka” as the official Fifa World Cup anthem on November 18, 2022.
The song was sang in three different languages.
Produced by Play-N-Skillz, Gordo, and Sari Abboud. The accompanying music video was directed by Edgar Esteves and Juan Felipe Zuleta.
Maluma and Myriam Fares will perform the song at Al Bidda Park in the opening event on November 19, 2022.
Maluma said, “I am so happy to be part of this World Cup single! I always dreamt of an opportunity like this. Representing Latin music on this global track alongside amazing artists that sing in English and Arabic takes our culture to another level.”
Myriam Fares said, “It has been an honour to participate in the composition, arrangement and choreography of Tukoh Taka, in addition to working alongside two of my favourite international artists, Nicki Minaj and Maluma. I am passionate about this song and I truly hope that Tukoh Taka will take the culture of the region, and Arabian music, to the whole world.”
The 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar will take place in Qatar from November 20 to December 18, 2022.
It is the first World Cup to be held in the Arab world. The tournament will be the last with 32 participating teams.- Og8giwn8pfg
