Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Röyksopp Releases New Song “Stay Awhile” featuring Susanne Sundfør
Norwegian electronic music duo Röyksopp, consisting of Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland, joined forces with Norwegian singer-songwriter Susanne Sundfør to release a new song “Stay Awhile” on November 16, 2022.
The song is taken from their upcoming eighth studio album “Profound Mysteries III”, which is out this Friday (November 18th).
It was written and produced by Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland.
The duo said of the new song, “‘Stay Awhile’ deals with solitude, longing and the basic human need for intimacy.”
The new album comprises 10-track and is the third part of a trilogy, following “Profound Mysteries” and “Profound Mysteries II”.
The duo said of the album, “It concludes our triple album. And beneath that golden, glittering sheen lie levels of ambiguity and contrast; the sweet and the harrowing, the wondrous and the crazy. We are human, and we dream.”- In addition to the new song, Susanne Sundfør joined in “If You Want Me" of “Profound Mysteries”, “Oh, Lover” of “Profound Mysteries II”.

The album features guest appearances from Astrid S, Susanne Sundfør, and Jamie Irrepressible. -
