Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Skofee Releases New Song “Quicksand”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Anna Marie Scholfield, aka Skofee released a new song “Quicksand” on November 4, 2022.
The song is taken form her upcoming sophomore EP “Joyland”, following “Wind Up Hero” and “Where Do You Hide Your Love” with Cimo Fränkel.
It was written by Anna Marie Scholfield, and Grant Boutin who also produced the track.
She has already filmed a music video for the song, which will premiere on November 11, 2022.
Skofee said of the song, “The song is my ode to hitting a breaking point. It's about the sinking realization that you have to let go of someone that you've been desperately trying to hold onto.”
The new EP is expected to be released later this year. It is her first project in two years since the 2020 debut EP “Polished”.
The EP touches on love, loss and the search for happiness in familiar places.- source : Apple Music
