American alt-rock band Yeah Yeah Yeahs, consisting of Karen O (vocals/synthesizer), Nick Zinner (guitar/synthesizer) and Brian Chase (drums), has dropped a new music video for “Wolf” directed by Allie Avital.
The song is featured on their fifth studio album “Cool It Down”, which was released back in September.
It was written by Karen O, Nick Zinner and David Andrew Sitek. Produced by David Andrew Sitek.
The band shared on social media, “It was our great fortune to collaborate with the powerhouses Allie Avital and Britt Lower on this video for Wolf. Allie casts a spell with the gorgeous world she weaves- always with teeth that bite, and Britt embodies all the contradictions in the themes of Wolf, so enamored with her performance that's got as much heaven as it does hell. We were beside ourselves with excitement when Allie cast Britt as the lead in the video, YYYs are serious nerds for Severance, what luck when the stars align.”
The new album is their first project in nine years since the 2013 album “Mosquito”.
