Canadian country music singer-songwriter Roslyn Witter released a new song “Chasing Fireflies” along with a music video on October 20, 2022.
The song is inspired by a hike with her husband, it’s about spreading love and enjoying the little things in life with your partner.
The track was written by Jim Witter and Roslyn Witter. Produced by Marty Martino and Jim Witter.
The accompanying video filmed by Brett Tonin, Nicole Hildebrandt and Roslyn Witter.
Roslyn Witter is known as a daughter of Canadian award-winning country music singer-songwriter Jim Witter.
This time, she co-wrote the song with her father Jim Witter.
“Country has always spoken to me because it’s about storytelling,” Roslyn Witter said. “The culture is warm and inviting and welcoming. I have a country twang to my voice that’s evolved naturally over the years. My voice is suited to it.”
She continued, “I love writing lyrics. I find it very therapeutic and they’re the most fun. My favourite thing is to sit in my bedroom uninterrupted and just try to focus on coming up with good lyrics.”
