  • Inhaler Announces New Album “Cuts & Bruises”, Premieres New Song “Love Will Get You There” on BBC Radio 1

  • Irish rock band Inhaler, consisting of Elijah Hewson (vocals/guitar), Robert Keating (bass), Josh Jenkinson (guitar) and Ryan McMahon (drums), announced their upcoming sophomore album “Cuts & Bruises” would be released on February 17, 2023.

It is their first album in two years, since the 2021 debut album “It Won't Always Be Like This”
From the album, the band premiered a new song “Love Will Get You There” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.
The song is the second single off of the album, following “These Are The Days”.
It was written by Elijah Hewson, Josh Jenkinson, Robert Keating, Ryan McMahon, and Antony Genn. Produced by Antony Genn.
The accompanying music video was directed by TRASH FACTORY.
Elijah Hewson told Clara Amfo about the song, “I think that's what we were attracted to about it kind of started writing about a friend device. I think this album, a lot of the songs are about our relationships with people with each other. And on the first record, we were kind of looking out but it's just a tender record. It's a bit awkward to put out. So you feel a bit exposed but it'll be good.”
  • The album comprises 11-track, produced by Antony Genn.
Elijah Hewson said of the album title, “ I think it was kind of I was saying like a lot of the songs are kind of about relationships and stuff. I think the pandemic definitely taught us a lot to go on with the pandemic all the time, but like, I think it definitely for people, kind of young adults and teenagers like being locked up and have no social interaction at all. Definitely affected people's mental health. What are affected our band's relationship too. So, I think a lot of these songs getting awkward because it's standing next to me, but really love each other. I think it's just kind of about getting over those kinds of things. And we've got 'Cuts & Bruises'.”
