British rapper Aitch appeared on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to perform “My G” and a cover of Adventures of Stevie V's “Dirty Cash (Money Talks)”.
“My G” was released from his debut album “Close to Home” back in August.
On the song, he collaborated with British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran.
This time, British singer-songwriter Mae Muller performed it with Aitch.
The song is about Aitch's sister Gracie, who has Down syndrome. The single reached No. 6 on the UK Singles chart.
Also, the debut album reached No.2 on the UK Albums chart.
Aitch told Apple Music about the song, “My dad came up with the idea for this song, years ago, and since then, it's always been in the back of my mind. It's about my sister. I have a sister called Gracie, but we all call her G, and this album is the perfect time to make this song. She loves a bit of Ed Sheeran, he's her favorite artist by far. I've even sent Ed some videos in the past of my sister singing his songs. I know he's the biggest artist in the world, but this is genuinely just a personal song. I wouldn't care if it got 10 streams.”
“Dirty Cash (Money Talks)” was released by British dance music act the Adventures of Stevie V in 1989. The song reached No. 2 on the UK Singles chart.- KCdF4B-zIVw
