Canadian R&B singer-songwriter Reeny Smith released a new song “Amber Lights” on September 28, 2022.
She first performed the song at Folk Harbour Sessions earlier September.
The song is the follow-up to “Goodbye”, which was released back in April.
It was written and produced by Reeny Smith. Bass and Drums by JR Smith. Cello by Kevin Fox.
Reeny Smith said of the song, “'Amber Lights' was inspired by a YouTube video I watched about a minor car fender bender at a traffic stop. The accident occurred while the amber light was on and for some odd reason, I was inspired by that idea and this song was written within the next hour.”
She continued, “For this production, I wanted to mix old-school soul elements with a modern R&B melody. I went with live instrumentation to help bring out the emotion I want, and really give the song an organic feel.”- lDSV0FOcCtM
