Sydney-based singer-songwriter St. Humain released the third single called “Tastes Like You” from his upcoming second EP "METADRAMATIC" on September 29, 2022.
The new EP is expected to be released later this year. It is his first project in three years since the 2019 EP “EMOTIONAL SAUNA”.
The song is the follow-up to “Memento” and “Sick Sad Love Song”. It was written and produced by St. Humain.
Exploring an encapsulation of jealousy, the track blurs the lines between fantasy and reality in a truly remarkable way.
St. Humain said of the song, “I had a little crush on her and saw on Instagram that she was hanging out with another guy and naturally — I began to be jealous, and maybe this is my toxic trait but I started imagining a whole scenario where they were literally going to get married. Turns out they were truly platonic housemates, but the feeling stuck. It's the lingering afterburn of jealousy/longing that hurt, and trying to drown it out by drinking had zero effect.”- Photo by Spare Truth
