British singer-songwriter Paloma Faith has joined forces with American singer-songwriter Teddy Swims to release a new version of “Only Love Can Hurt Like This”.
The original version of the song was released from her third studio album “A Perfect Contradiction” in 2014. It was written by Diane Warren.
The song was blowing up on TikTok again, Paloma Faith wanted to reissue it as a proper duet.
This time, Paloma Faith collaborated with Teddy Swims for the first time to record the new version.
Both artists recorded the song remotely, even though Paloma Faith still hasn't met Teddy Swims.
Paloma Faith said “I’m such a fan of teddy swims so singing one of my favourite songs I’ve ever recorded with him was an honour and a privilege. I’m so happy to release this reimagining of the Diane Warren classic into the world !!!!”
