  • Dylan Premieres New Song “Nothing Lasts Forever” on BBC Radio 1

  • British alt-pop singer-songwriter Natasha Wood, aka Dylan premiered a new song “Nothing Lasts Forever” on BBC Radio 1's Future Artists.

The song is the second single off of her upcoming mixtape “The Greatest Thing I'll Never Learn”, following “Girl Of Your Dreams”.
It was written by Dylan, Edward James Carlile, and Martin Luke Brown. Produced by King Ed and Cameron Gower Poole.
“'Nothing Lasts Forever' is one of my favourite tracks on the mixtape because it's a perfect representation of who I am as a person – straight to the point, honest and entirely chaotic.” Dylan said of the song. “It's the classic Dylan contradiction of emotions between the lyrics and the track. I wanted to write a happy song about how badly I handle my feelings, and the way that people can walk in and out of your life as they please.”
The new mixtape is set to be released on October 28, 2022 and comprises 8-track.
It encapsulates the rising star's experiences with “learning to love and be loved”. She said, “How does anyone love and be loved?! It's cringy, but the songs are so un-cringy that it's very easy to take in without icking myself out. But I feel like I'm writing a soundtrack to my life. This is my movie soundtrack.”
