Belgian-Congolese singer-songwriter Marie-Pierra Kakoma, aka Lous and The Yakuza joined forces with Nigerian Afrobeats singer-songwriter Adekunle Gold to release a new song “Handle Me” on September 2, 2022.
This marks the first collaboration between Marie-Pierra Kakoma and Adekunle Gold.
The song is her third single of 2022, following “Kisé” and “Monsters”. This time, she sang the song in English and French.
The track was written by Marie-Pierra Kakoma and Adekunle Gold. Produced by Price D. and David Mems.
Marie-Pierra Kakoma signed with Roc Nation (Jay-Z's label) earlier this year and is currently based in the United States.
This summer, she played at the most prestigious summer festivals, and opened arenas for Alicia Keys in Europe and the USA, Gorillaz in Germany and Coldplay in Belgium and France. Earlier this month, she played her first sold-out concert in New York.- source : Apple Music
