Romanian singer-songwriter Sorana released her third single of 2022 called “Wild Girls” on August 12, 2022 via Atlantic Records, following “redruM” with French DJ David Guetta and “Karaoke”.
The song interpolations the late legendary composer Ennio Morricone’s “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”.
The track was written by Sorana Pacurar, Nicki Adamsson, Kes Noel, Morten Schjolin, and Ennio Morricone. Produced by Nicki Adamsson.
“’Wild Girls’ is a female empowerment, western-inspired record that shows that no one can cross one of us girls and get away without a broken heart,” Sorana said of the song. “It interpolates Ennio Morricone’s iconic theme from ‘The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly,’ to give it that cinematic vibe. I wanted to flip the male-dominated Western genre on its head. Women are really the fiercest cowboys.”
Sorana is alumna of X Factor Romania and is better known as a guest vocals for the Chainsmokers' “Takeaway”, Ava Max's “OMG What's Happening”, and Alan Walker's “Lost Control”.- source : Apple Music
