British singer-songwriter and TikTok star, Michael Aldag premiered a new song “APATHY” on BBC Radio 1's Future Artists with Kerrie Cosh.
The song is the first single off of his upcoming EP “SOCIALIZING”, which is set to be released on November 11, 2022.
It was written by Michael Aldag and Alex Quinn. Produced by Mathias Wang.
Michael Aldag told Kerrie Cosh about the song, “'APATHY' is like a very sad song, but over major chords, so I hope no one notices kind of. It's basically about me like having a bit of anxiety and not really wanting to leave my house and I kind of wanted to make that into a happy sounding song. And that's what I've kind of hopefully done.”
He continued, “'APATHY' is the first single off my upcoming EP, which is called 'SOCIALIZING', ironically, and it's all kind of like so 'APATHY' is the first track, and then it kind of looks like me leaving the house and the trials and tribulations of that. And then also I've got a tour in October, which I'm very excited for where I'll be playing all the songs and hopefully it'd be really fun.”- source : BBC Radio 1
