British singer-songwriter Florence Arman returned with a new song “Stupid Heart” alongside a music video on July 29, 2022.
It is her first music since the 2021 debut EP “Out of the Blue”.
It was written and produced by Florence Arman and Johannes Römer.
Florence Arman shared on social media, “ok so I took bit of an involuntary music break due to sad stuff. but I'm done being sad now. so here are some tits and a jolly announcement that my new single 'STUPID HEART' is out.”
She said of the video, “Huge huge thank you to Sebastian and Teresa Arman for letting me roll around in your amazing house (your floors are exceptionally clean), to Elias Oldofredi for helping me birth this idea, to Lucy for lacing up my dress (arguably the most difficult of all jobs), Hanna Stantejsky for the make-up tips, and finally, to the shady guy on the internet who sold me this really itchy wig that kept sliding off. Mad love for you all (except internet man, I don't know you well but im sure you're very lovely).”- The song will appear on her upcoming sophomore EP, which is expected to be released later this year.
She shared about the EP last month, “Exactly one year ago i released my first EP!!! So much has happened since then and it feels like 3 years, but as chance would have it, i just finished my second EP! Life took some unexpected turns, so this took a little longer than anticipated, but I'm really excited to show you! mahoosive shoutout to my manager Elias Ezekiel Oldofredi who is the reason I'm able to do all of this in the first place and to everyone who's been a part of this 😭❤️” - source : Spotify
