Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ MØ Releases New Song “True Romance”
Danish singer-songwriter MØ released a new song “True Romance” along with a music video on June 17, 2022.
The song follows up the remix of “New Moon” with Rebecca Black, which was released back in April.
It was written by Karen Marie Ørsted and Ronni Vindahl. Produced by Rasmus Littauer and Ronni Vindahl.
The video was directed by Casper Balslev.
MØ said of the song, “True Romance was a song that I first started writing back in 2015. I got too busy during that time, so the song never came together but I'm grateful that some of my sweet fans wouldn't let it go, because I'm so happy with the final version even though it took some years to come together.”
She continued, “This song is about finding your way back to some kind of innocence and not allowing life to make you too jaded. I guess it's about trying to find joy amidst the chaos and that feels very timely.”
