Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Chlöe Releases New Song “Surprise”
American singer-songwriter Chloe Elizabeth Bailey, aka Chlöe released a new song “Surprise” along with a music video on June 17, 2022.
The song is the third single off of her upcoming self-titled debut album, following “Have Mercy” and “Treat Me”.
The track was written by IllaDaProducer, Feli Ferraro, Scott Storch and Chlöe. Produced by IllaDaProducer and Scott Storch.
The accompanying video was directed by Diana Kunst, who also directed her previous video for “Treat Me”.
Back in Mau, she previewed the track along with “For The Night” and “Cheat Back” during livestream and asked the fans to choose which song should be the next single.
Finally, she decided to release the song as the third single. She also confirmed that Beyoncé had insinuate with the decision.
Chlöe said, “I knew what you picked about the polls, but when the queen speaks, the queen speaks… and that’s all I’m gonna say and that’s all that matters to me.”
Chlöe is known as one half of the musical duo Chloe x Halle with her sister Halle Bailey.
