Tom Jenkins Releases Two New Songs “Under The Sun” & “Blue Beard”
British singer-songwriter and former Straight Lines, Tom Jenkins released a new song “Under The Sun” and “Blue Beard” on May 27, 2022.
“Under The Sun” is taken from his upcoming second solo album along with a music video.
It was written by Tom Jenkins. The accompanying video was directed by Lewys Mann.
Tom Jenkins said of the song, “'Under The Sun' is probably the most upbeat song off my new album. I really wanted to write more uplifting music this time round. The sound is inspired mainly by American alt-rock bands like Band of Horses and The Shins. Lyrically the song focuses on unity in a world that always seems to be trying to divide us by the ways of the media or manipulating higher powers.”
“Blue Beard” is a cover of American rock band Band of Horses. The song is included on the band's third studio album “Infinite Arms”, which was released in 2010.
Tom Jenkins' new album is expected to be released later this year.
He began writing, producing and recording a second solo album during lockdown: working with lifelong friend and producer Todd Campbell, the pair began to lay down foundations between an old barn on Tom's farm and Todd's local studio.- jXw-gLAm6a0
