Faroese singer-songwriter Rani Peterson, aka Reiley released a brand new song “blah blah blah” on April 15, 2022 via Atlantic Records.
It is his first single since the 2021 debut EP “brb, having an identity crisis”.
The song samples Australian singer-songwriter Kylie Minogue's 2001 smash hit “Can't Get You Out of My Head”.
It was written by Catherine Dennis, James Abrahart, Jamie Sanderson, Rani Petersen, Robert Davis and Rollo. Produced by Sermstyle.
“Trolls are unavoidable these days on social media, seems like there are always these anonymous profiles that are quick to hate on anything you do,” Reiley told PEOPLE of the song's inspiration. “I don't find their commentary particularly interesting or creative, so I figured I'd help them out and upgrade their usual banter into a pop anthem.”
Rani Peterson was born in Faroe Islands. He spent 2019 in London and Los Angeles, writing songs, creating music content and building a network of contacts in the music industry.
Rani Peterson signed to Atlantic Records in 2020 and debuted with “Let It Ring”.
