Latto & Mariah Carey Release New Remix of “Big Energy” featuring DJ Khaled
Atlanta-based rapper Latto teamed up with American singer-songwriter Mariah Carey to release a new remix of “Big Energy” featuring American producer DJ Khaled.
The original version of the song is included Latto's sophomore album “777”, which was released on March 25, 2022.
The remix will appeare on the deluxe edition of the album, which is expected to be released in May 2022.
The track sampled Tom Tom Club's 1981 song “Genius of Love” and Mariah Carey's 1995 hit “Fantasy”.
“I originally thought Mariah for the remix back in like November when it first started going up, but didn't think I could get her realistically,” Lattoshared on social media. “Fast fwd I said fuck it and reached out. She was down.”
