Spanish singer-songwriter ROSALÍA will release her third studio album “MOTOMAMI” this Friday (March 18).
Last week, she performed “CHICKEN TERIYAKI” and “LA FAMA” on Saturday Night Live from the album.
On March 16, she dropped the final promotional song “HENTAI” along with a music video from the album.
It was written by David Rodríguez, Sir Dylan, Noah Goldstein, Michael Uzowuru, Larry Gold, Chad Hugo, Jacob Sherman, Pharrell Williams and ROSALÍA. The video was directed by Mitch Ryan.
ROSALÍA told i-D Vice of the song, “In this new album, there's some humor. In my other projects, I didn't allow a sense of humor. 'Hentai' is much more suggestive, much more erotic for me. Hentai is more interesting than conventional porn. And why not talk about something like that as an inspiration for a song? Having sex is part of life. It's all the same.
