RYMAN Releases New Song “Immature”
Nashville-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Ryman Wooten, aka RYMAN has released a new song “Immature” along with a music video.
The song will appear on his upcoming second EP “Change”, which is set to be released on July 8, 2022.
It was written by Ryman Wooten, Rock Donelson, Cleve Wilson and Val Hoyt. The video as directed by Mason Mecartea.
He wrote the song in 2020. Ryman Wooten said of the song, “I wrote the chorus/hook for this song back in October of 2020. It basically talks about breaking a girl's heart, but learning from your mistakes and wanting her back. Cleve Wilson had commented on a TikTok of me playing the chorus, so I decided to bring it in to work on in our writing session. Cleve Wilson, Val Hoyt, and I ended up finishing the song in about an hour.”- Ryman Wooten is just 17-years-old, who released the 5-track debut EP “Rewind” as RYMAN in June 2021.
He grew up surrounded by music in Nashville. “I've been coming up with melodies ever since I can remember, literally. At 3-years-old, I was humming or singing lyrics and not knowing where they came from. My dad always had Beatles and Bob Dylan records around the house, my mom was always playing everything from indie to rap to classic rock, and I had friends into punk and jazz and everything in-between. That's what I was raised on, so I got a good lesson in pop music fundamentals, whether I wanted it or not at a very early age,” he recalled. -
