Years & Years Releases New Song “Sooner Or Later”
British singer-songwriter Olly Alexander's solo project Years & Years will release his upcoming third studio album “Night Call” on January 21, 2022 via Polydor Records.
It is the first album as Olly Alexander's solo project following the departure of Mikey Goldsworthy and Emre Türkmen.
From the album, he unveiled a new song “Sooner Or Later” on January 14th.
It was co-written by Olly Alexander, Clarence Coffee Jr., and Mark Ralph, who also produced the track.
The new album comprises 11-track, featuring guest appearace from Swedish DJ duo Galantis.
Olly Alexander said of the album in a statement, “I was writing from a fantastical space, stuck in the same four walls. I wanted to have as much pleasure as possible in the music.”
Also, he told The Guardian about the album, “A lot of the songs are about sex and hookups because it was something that was absent from my life. I was trying to manifest some physical contact and thinking about the past few years before lockdown. It's not like I was having tons of sex, but I was having some sex.”- Photo by Nick Thompson
