Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Placebo Releases New Song “Try Better Next Time”
British rock band Placebo, consisting of Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal, unveiled a new song “Try Better Next Time” from their upcoming eighth studio album “Never Let Me Go” on January 11, 2022.
The song is the third single off of the album, following “Beautiful James” and “Surrounded by Spies”.
It was written by Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal. Produced by Placebo and Adam Noble.
Brian Molko said of the song, “It is not the end of the world, only the end of humanity, a distinction that in our overblown hubris we are unable to detect. Mother Nature has grown extremely weary of us. Try Better Next Time.”
The new album comprises 13-track and is set to be released on March 25, 2022.
It is their first album in nine years since the 2013 album “Loud Like Love”. It is also their first album to be recorded as a duo.
Brian Molko revealed the album had started life while the band were on their 20th anniversary tour for their 1996 self-titled debut album.- source : Apple Music
