American country music singer-songwriter Walker Hayes will release his third studio album “Country Stuff The Album” on January 21, 2022.
It is his first album in five years since the 2017 “Boom”.
From the album, he unveiled the forth single off called “Drinking Songs” on January 7th, following “AA”, “U Gurl” and “Fancy Like”.
It was written by Walker Hayes and Jordan Gray. Produced by Joe Thibodeau and Shane McAnally.
“'Drinking Songs' is one of my favorites off the new album,” Walker Hayes said of the song. “I don't drink anymore but I still connect with how a song can get you through, just like a drink can for some people. We've all been in a bar full of people singing together, arms around each other. Plus, the lyrics and the beat just have a relatable quality to them that feels so country to me.”
The new album comprises 13-track, featuring guest appearances from Jake Owen, Lori McKenna and Carly Pearce.- source : Apple Music
