American singer-songwriter Father John Misty announced his fifth studio album “Chloë and the Next 20th Century” would be released on April 8, 2022.
It is his first album in four years since the 2018 album “God's Favorite Customer”.
From the album, he unveiled a new song “Funny Girl” along with a music video on January 5, 2022.
It was written and produced by Josh Tillman and co-produced by Jonathan Wilson.
The track features an orchestral arrangement that echoes old Hollywood. The video was directed by Nicholas Ashe Bateman.
The new album comprises 11-track including two covers of “Buddy's Rendezvous” by Lana Del Rey and “Kiss Me (I Loved You)” by Jack Cruz. Father John Misty worked with his log pal and producer Jonathan Wilson for the album.- source : Apple Music
