Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Krewella and MADGRRL Team Up for New Song “No Control”
Los Angeles-based EDM duo Krewella and music producer MADGRRL teamed up to release a new song “No Control” along with a music video.
Their collaboration is not the first time. Krewella and MADGRRL worked together for Krewella's “Greenlights” remix in 2020.
The song follows up “Never Been Hurt”, which was released in November. The video was directed by Warren Manegan.
Krewella said of the song, “It's been years since we've made a track like this – dipping into our career-long love of hardstyle and heavy bass music, we wrote and produced this song to articulate the burgeoning chaos we've been craving since having a lack of human contact and indulgent experiences during the pandemic. We tapped MADGRRL, whom we've known for almost 10 years, and has been making some of our favorite heavy dance tracks lately to help take this one to another level of wild.”
MADGRRL said of the video, “We shot this right before we found out about the omicron surge 🙈, and had a day of fun being kids running around Los Angeles. Big thx to our crew for making this happen right before Xmas, just so we could bring some cheerful vibes to whoever's lonely during the holidays this year.”- source : Apple Music
