Back in April, American country music singer-songwriter Thomas Rhett released his fifth studio album “Country Again: Side A” for the first time in two yeas.
The album is the first release of a double album project.
On November 5, he unveiled a new song “Slow Down Summer” from his upcoming sixth studio album “Where We Started”.
He co-wrote the song with frequent collaborators Ashley Gorley, Jesse Frasure, Sean Douglas, and Rhett Akins.
“I wrote this song from the point of view of two people who are in love during senior year of high school,” Rhett explained in a press statement. “I envisioned them headed off to different schools and they're starting to understand that the moment the weather starts to change, they've got a 99% chance this relationship is not going to work. I know that myself and a lot of people have been there before, wishing the fireworks stage doesn't have to end.”
The new album “Where We Started” will be released in early 2022. Then the album “Country Again: Side B” is expected to be released in the fall 2022.- source : Apple Music
